Reflection

Paul reminds Timothy that Scripture is able to teach, correct, and equip the servant of God. The Word is not given merely for information. It shapes the soul so that our thoughts, choices, and actions become more faithful.

The psalmist loves God’s law because it gives life. In a world full of many voices, the Word steadies us. It helps us recognize what is true, endure what is difficult, and resist what would pull us away from Christ.

Jesus’ teaching in the Gospel draws listeners into a deeper understanding of who the Messiah is. Today, we are invited to come to Scripture not as a task to complete, but as a place where Christ meets us and forms us for good work.
