Today’s readings remind us that fear does not have the final word. God sees the faithful, hears the poor, and sends grace through Jesus Christ. We are invited to trust His care and witness to Him with steady hearts.

Life can bring moments when faith feels costly, lonely, or misunderstood. Today’s readings speak gently but firmly: God is near, God knows, and God strengthens those who trust Him.

The Word:
Jeremiah entrusts his cause to the Lord, even while surrounded by opposition. The psalm cries out for God’s loving answer. Saint Paul proclaims that grace in Jesus Christ is greater than sin. In the Gospel, Jesus tells His disciples not to be afraid, because the Father knows and values each one.

Reflection:
Jeremiah’s courage did not come from easy circumstances. It came from knowing that the Lord was with him. Even when others watched for his failure, Jeremiah placed his life in God’s hands.

Jesus offers the same confidence to His disciples. He does not promise that faith will always be comfortable. He promises that the Father sees even the smallest sparrow and counts every hair on our heads. Nothing about us is hidden from His loving care.

Saint Paul reminds us that grace is stronger than the wound of sin. Fear may whisper loudly, but grace speaks deeper. Today, we can stand with quiet courage, trusting that God’s mercy is more powerful than anything that tries to silence hope.

Call to Action:
Name one fear before God today, and ask Him for the courage to take one faithful step forward.

Prayer:
Lord, when fear rises in my heart, help me remember Your nearness.
Give me courage to trust You, speak Your truth, and rest in Your love.
Let Your grace overflow in me today. Amen.
