The Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity draws us into the mystery of God’s love. The Father sends the Son, and the Spirit gathers us into communion and peace.

Opening

Today’s readings invite us to pause and listen for the movement of God’s grace. The readings proclaim God’s mercy, glory, love, peace, and saving purpose. In the Gospel, the Father’s love is revealed through the sending of the Son so the world might be saved.

The Word

Reflection

The Trinity is not an abstract puzzle meant to keep God distant. This solemnity reveals that God is communion, love, mercy, and life. The Father does not look upon the world with cold indifference. The Son is sent in love. The Spirit draws believers into fellowship, peace, and grace.

John’s Gospel reminds us that God’s purpose is salvation. Christ comes not to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through Him. That truth should shape how we see God, ourselves, and others. The Christian life begins and continues in gift. We are loved before we achieve. We are called before we are perfect. We are drawn into communion before we fully understand the mystery.

To worship the Trinity is to receive love and become a person of love: mending ways, encouraging others, seeking peace, and living in grace.
