When prayer feels repetitive, and answers seem slow, we may wonder whether to keep asking. These readings invite us to approach God with confidence, rely on His grace, and welcome the Holy Spirit. Our daily needs become opportunities to deepen our relationship with the Father.
Some concerns follow us through the entire day. We carry them into work, conversations, and even sleep. Bringing the same concern to God again can feel discouraging. Yet prayer gives us a place to bring our weariness honestly and receive strength for the next step.

Galatians 3:1–5: Paul challenges the Galatians to remember how they received the Spirit through faith. Their life with God began through His grace, and they must continue depending on Him.
Responsorial Canticle — Luke 1:69–70, 71–72, 73–75: This passage praises God for His saving mercy and faithfulness to His covenant, allowing His people to serve Him without fear.
Luke 11:5–13: Jesus describes a persistent request for bread and encourages His disciples to ask, seek, and knock. He points to the Father’s goodness and His willingness to give the Holy Spirit to those who ask.
Reflection
It can be difficult to admit that we need help. We may feel responsible for having every answer or solving every problem before anyone notices our struggle. Prayer makes room for honesty. We can bring God an unfinished situation, a tired heart, or a concern we cannot yet put into words.
Returning to prayer keeps us close to the Father. We do not have to find a new phrase each time or measure our faith by how calm we feel afterward. Some days, a simple request for patience or guidance is all we can offer. We can make that request sincerely and continue with the responsibilities before us.
The Holy Spirit’s help can shape how we face those responsibilities. We can ask for the courage to have a difficult conversation, the humility to accept assistance, or the patience to listen carefully. As we pray, we can also make room for a faithful response through our choices.
Choose one concern to bring to God today. Let it invite you to return to Him whenever anxiety rises. Ask for what you need, welcome His guidance, and take the next step available to you. You can keep praying while the situation unfolds.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, help me bring my needs to You with honesty and trust. Give me Your Holy Spirit to guide my choices and strengthen me when I grow weary. Teach me to remain close to You while I wait. Amen.
